Early Robin by Terry Gorley View her website :Merv’s Miracle Mall
And Joy is Everywhere;
It is in the Earth’s green covering of grass;
In the blue serenity of the Sky;
In the reckless exuberance of Spring;
In the severe abstinence of gray Winter;
In the Living flesh that animates our bodily frame;
In the perfect poise of the Human figure, noble and upright;
In the exercise of all our powers;
In the acquisition of Knowledge;
in fighting evils…
Joy is there Everywhere.
“Joy,” by Rabindranath Tagore
I have been away from this place for a week. In that time the fields have greened, the trees show fat buds, and the robins hunt for worms in the soft spring earth.
On today’s walk, silence found me everytime I stopped to suck in the awesome view of clouds playing with mountains.
Joy comes in spite of everything. Joy is nature’s natural state. Even in the storm joy rises with the wind.
Stop. Let the nature seep into your skin, and let the joy infuse your soul.
Walk in quiet places.
