While I worked on my Newsletter for Friday on the subject of Enthusiasm,
I discovered a series of videos by Zig Ziglar which I thought personified the whole idea of enthusiasm. The Subject of his talk is Goals. I loved the unique way he approached the subject and especially the enthusiasm he used to deliver his talk.
Since the subject of goal setting is important to self development I decided to bring you all three videos. They are short so don’t worry about the length of time you will be watching. The brevity of Mr Ziglar’s talk show his mastery of the subject.
Let me know how you enjoyed the videos. Which one was your favorite.
Part One
Part Two
Part Three
Hope you enjoyed these. Leave me a comment.

Zig Ziglar Inspirational Quote

“The most influential person who will talk to you all day is you, so you should be very careful about what you say to you!”
Source: Zig Ziglar
What Are You Saying To Yourself?
Action creates change! To change your self-image you need to change the way you talk to yourself.
I know we have all done this. “You fool, what where you thinking?” Or, “What an idiot I am” or “There is noway I can do that.”
Hands up all those who have never said those things to themselves.
I don’t see any hands!
Okay. Zig Ziglar is one of the most influential inspirational speakers around and if he says you ought to be careful about what you say to you, then I for one believe him.
Here’s my little exercise for today. Keep a small notebook with you where ever you go today, and jot down all that negative chatter you say to yourself. Don’t worry about analyzing it, just write it down. Do this all day. Just before you go to bed take out your notes and read over what you have written down. I am willing to bet that you are surprised!
Now rip up your notes throw them in the recycle bin and say to yourself. “I am complete just as I am”, three times.
If you really want to change this habit, carry that notebook around with you for 30 days. At the end of thirty days you should be recording very little in that notebook.
Please enjoy this gift of today, there won’t ever be another exactly like it.
