Belief is Thought

I love this simple and astounding quote.

How often have you heard excuses in the form of beliefs. “I tried, I just can’t stop smoking”?

This is now a belief with all the weight of an often repeated thought. Remember yesterday’s quote about making pathways in the mind?

To change a belief we need to create a new thought. “I can stop smoking.” Said often enough it will become a belief and with belief will come results.

We tend to complicate simple things, because we have been told there are no simple answers. We have heard it often enough and from people with “Authority,” that it has become a belief.

The answers can be simple.

The way to spiritual enlightenment, can be simple, is simple.

Freedom comes when we give up the complexities we believe, and embrace simplicity.
