Meditation is not a way of making your mind quiet.
It is a way of entering into the quiet that is already there –
buried under the 50,000 thoughts
the average person thinks every day.

Sliding down the clear blue sky is a whisper on the quiet wings of silence.
Listen closely and let go. (Fragment from my thoughts)
As the quote says, the quiet is all ready there, we just need to enter into it. I know from my own experience that this is true. In recent days when I go to rescue my buried mind of 50,000 thoughts, I am aware of entering into that space. In fact the quiet is always there. Only our noise masks it.
With a little conscious effort we can say in touch with that quiet zone all day long.
This Monday, stop every once in awhile to reach out for the quiet. You will be amazed to find it there in the noisest of places.
Have a quiet Monday.
