Saint Hildegard of Bingen a 16th century Christian Mystic talked about “our green growing edge of becoming” which to me is a beautiful way of referring to our human responsibility to grow way out there, on “our green growing edge” where we explore all the possibilities of our unlimited potential. Her words link the many pieces of this post, as they all came together this morning as I sat down to find an inspirational video for today, and ended up with a multi media, collage of thought that expresses where we find ourselves in this age of expansion in the realms of quantum physics, and the evolutions of neuroscience, as we begin to glimpse potentials and probabilities far beyond anything we felt possible only a few decades ago.
First I want to present to you this heart warming video, I found buried in the now vast archives of almost ten years of blogging here at Beautiful Summer Morning.
The video should help you move beyond the restrictive paradigms of your life into braving that green growing edges of your becoming. However, Runi the great Persian Poet talks about possibility too which I also ran across this morning in the archives:
You were born with potential
You were born with goodness and trust
You were born with ideals and dreams
You were born with greatness
You were born with wings
You are not meant for crawling, so don’t.
You have wings
Learn to use them,and fly.
For the next items I am deeply indebted to Dr Joe Dispenzsa, in whose newsletter I found these amazing links. If you have the time to follow them now, I hope you enjoy that tingling at the edges of your mind you get when it has been truly stretched.
This is a tease really for the link I give you after this one: This video is just over 7 minutes long.
And now for a real mind bending challenge this is a full length documentary about:
It may be a little challenging but it really does take you out to that green growing edge of becoming.
Since it’s Sunday I wanted to give you a thought to walk away with:
If you put yourself in a position where you have to stretch outside your comfort zone, then you are forced to expand your consciousness.Les Brown
