You,Yellow Stripes and Dead Armadillos
Are you committed to living the very best day you possible can? If you are, the world will find a way to make
it so.

Love that one!
Recently I talked about how even a tiny commitment leads to profound change over time: just a simple little thing as clapping your hands and declaring, “I’m having a great day” , every morning before you roll out of bed!
The question I lead off with today…is part two of my simple program to transform your life.
The question I pose I borrowed from Joe Dispenza: “What is the greatest ideal of yourself you can be today?” I ask people to reflect on this for maybe 5 to 10 minutes each morning in a quiet place. My favorite quiet place in the morning is my deck overlooking my garden. The question doesn’t ask you to BE that greatest ideal but instead what part of that can you focus on today.
If you have a short temper, as an example, your greatest ideal of yourself today would be to stretch that fuse…take a deep breath or count to ten before you explode…and maybe tomorrow you will count to 20 and so on. Before you know it…short fuse…gone. You are now one step closer to your greatest ideal of yourself. Do that exercise everyday for a year….that’s 5 to 10 minutes a morning…and I guarantee that even you…your harshest critic will see the change!
Any resolution or decision you make is simply a promise to yourself, which isn’t worth a tinker’s dam unless you have formed the habit of making it and keeping it. And you won’t form the habit of making it and keeping it unless right at the start you link it with a definite purpose that can be accomplished by keeping it. In other words, any resolution or decision you make today has to be made again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next, and the next, and so on. And it not only has to be made each day, but it has to be kept each day, for if you miss one day in the making or keeping of it, you’ve got to go back and begin all over again. But if you continue the process of making it each morning and keeping it each day, you will finally wake up some morning a different man in a different world, and you will wonder what has happened to you and the world you used to live in.Source Albert Gray
Let the life you live light up your life.
