I’ve just discovered Joshua Kadison. Here is a performer who has not followed the “normal” path to success. It fact at the age of 15 he headed out to be a troubadour doing shows all over the country at every venue he could find. You can hear in his voice and his music that experience. What I have seen of his on stage performances, he appears exceptionally relaxed and at home.

He penned his first album “Painted Desert Serenade” in 1993. He also wrote a book which I’d love to read if I can figure out where to get a copy.
