Hi everyone,

I just thought I would update you with the list of words my readers send me as the first words that popped in to their heads when they view the picture in the previous post.

So without further ado, here is the list of words readers responded with.

Beauty (4)
Fragrance
Perfection or perfect (4)
Promise
DAD (a very personal memory of a loved one)
God
Constancy (2)
Simplicity (2)
Mother Nature or nature (2)
Exquisite

The miracle is that every one of those words apply to the photo. We all see out of slightly different windows.

My own personal word for the photo? Hope.

Inspirational Quote of the Day

What you see and hear depends a good deal on where you are standing; it also depends on what sort of person you are.

Where Are You Standing?

The quote above fits perfectly to our exercise with the photo. When you looked at the photo where were you standing? Sitting?
If you have a laptop you know that the angle of the screen changes the colors on the screen. What I see out of a train window is different than the another person sitting next to me sees. We are viewing from slightly different angles.

But more than just what we see, it is what we bring, already formed within, to the vision.

Now I know that all my readers are spiritually inclined to live in a positive and uplifting way. You just wouldn’t stay subscribed if you world view was really at odds with inspiration and seeing hope, and love and peace all around you.

Another person could have looked at the photo and used the word “death” because that’s all there is, or “sadness” because it’s beauty will be mush on the grown in a few short days.

See it’s more what we hold inside that colors our view of things and dictates what we see.

When you ask or state something like “I don’t know what she see in him”, you are bringing all your own life view to the situation.

When you hear yourself saying those things, or when you turn up your nose in distaste, stop for a moment, step outside your view and see if you can see the object in a different light.

Art has a wonderful way of doing this.

But why wait for the artist to get you to “see”.

Stop and look.

Ask if there is a different way to see what ever attracts your attentions.

Now can you see hope in the rose? I can now see all the other words as well.

Much Love
