The Mystery is The Doorway
A doorway into a garden
Last week, over at Beautiful Summer Morning Newsletter, we ran a five day series about doorways, gateways, portals, or what have you. These doorways or portals offer us a glimpse into another world. These glimpses into the mystery have intrigued me since I can remember.
The first doorways I can remember where those in gardens, where you see through an archway into a different room calling you to come explore this new territory: to discover the secrets, the joys, the mysteries within.
Readers of the newsletter provided the outstanding images we used during the week, and the divine working its magic provided the commentary and links.
I’ve included a synopsis of the quotes we used and one of the photos below.

We finished the week with these observations.
The Mystery is The Doorway
The manifestations are the physical reality all about us. Our desiring allows us to see those manifestation. To see the mystery we need to step beyond desiring to be desireless. When we master that the mystery is before us the doorway to all understanding.
Very esoteric, but well worth working through: Get Wayne Dyer’s book because he walks you through each verse with great insights and practice.
I thought this quote elevated our idea of doorways toward a more spiritual understanding.
But then I realized we all contain part (at least) of the mystery, that duality I talked about earlier in the week. Because we arrive here with a body but still with the divine spark of consciousness, we serve as a bridge between both worlds and in effect we are, each and every one of us a doorway to the Mystery and all understanding.
Do you know how precious that makes you? Do you understand how precious every one of those shining conscious sparks are? Each one of them represents a slightly different doorway to the mystery.
Yet everyday on this planet we shut down those doorways prematurely though hate, intolerance, fear, self-righteous judgment and sheer indifference to the fate of our fellow doorways.
We need every doorway wide open to achieve an awakened planet.

Thought provoking post. My is trying to process it all. Spirituality is a wondrous and mystical thing that can never be comprehended but that can not be avoided either. It is so easy to get caught up in the hear and now and not just relax and just be still. It’s in the stillness that wisdom and insight comes and you are able to see the door. It is the connect with your own spirit that you get to the real your real desires and purpose.
Sometimes it is hard to sit still; you see the things that you have been trying to ignore and feel emotions you have been trying to avoid. But learning to see is the path of joy that leads to the doorway of infinite possibilities.

This is definitely one of the most thought provoking blog posts I have read in a while but I feel like there’s a strong message behind what you are saying. Too many people are so busy and blanketed by media, the rat race and what not that they don’t have the time to think laterally any more.

Yes I would agree with you. I think we all need to make a conscious effort to get away from it all for a little while and sit with the silence.
