Inspirational Quote of the Day by Helen Keller

No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new doorway for the human spirit.

A New Doorway

Look at Rosemary Heenan`s photo above. I want to take that trail to see what is just around the corner in the distance. Why? Because who knows what discoveries await!

For a pessimist, what’s the point? What awaits around the corner remains the same as what you see now.

I walk my dogs in the same places all the time. Yet each visit offers up new and Cialis Professional exciting discoveries, in spring it’s the emerging buds to leaf, later it’s the hint of something heavenly on the wind, or the way the sunshine plays with cloud to create a pattern across the fields.

Change is the nature of the physical world. We are here to witness the constant transformation of all things. The awesome stillness of the spiritual world emerges from the spaces between each change. One needs the other for expression. There in lies the duality that creates all doorways, one forever looking into the other.

Our joy is to play in both worlds.

Our challenge is to remain aware of both worlds or the physical will dominate and take away the dance and the doorways.

I’ve been waiting for the weather to warm up because I miss walking. Thank you for the inspiration.

This morning I was meditating of the bible being alive. The same scripture can mean so many different things to so many different people.

The words never get old to me because it seems to speak to me and my momentary needs. I’ve learned to hold on to the lesson, but not take it as a interpretation for everyone else to live by. My father is a complex man with simple expressions. He tells me the same lessons over an over again but with different meaning as I mature and can better understand the new lesson. God, the Father, does the same thing with us. Sometimes the bible seems magical to me.

  3. Hi LLnL,

Magic is in the air we breath, life is scripture. We can all read the same words and find a meaning that speaks directly to us. We all come before (Source/God) by different paths uniquely our own. We can reach out and share the experience, but we can never live it for another. One of the other bits of magic that enchants us all.
