Slumdog Millionaire Truly Inspirational

Tonight I watched Slumdog Millionaire. This movie is nothing short of brilliant and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture Drama.

The story is told through a series of flashbacks, that takes you into the streets of Mumbai , to the gritty reality of the slums. Yet as the story unfolds you begin to get a sense of a powerful love story stretching across many years and too many heartbreaks. Yet for slumdog Jamal, nothing deters him from his constant search for Latika his true love.

I won’t go into detail, enough is to say the ending lifts the spirit in a way seldom seen on film. The end brings all the threads of hope than run through the brutal world of the slums to one beautiful point of inspiration that will bring tears to your eyes, I promise you.

Don’t miss this one if you want to feel uplifted and elated.
