It Felt Love

How
Did the rose
Ever open it’s heart

And give this world
All its
Beauty?

It felt the encouragement of light
Against its
Being,

Otherwise,
We all remain

Too

Frightened

The poems of Hafiz are beautiful in special ways. Here he asks a simple question. How did the rose ever open it’s heart?

How do you open yours?

When you open your heart you share your beauty with the world.

But that’s scary! You could be hurt. Badly!

So you need to feel that encouragement to unfold the layers of protection that keep your heart hidden, so that you may unfold into the light.

With out that encouragement we never bloom out of fear of the consequences.

Love that which makes you reveal your heart.

Love who is the encouragement of light against your being.

Your duty is to give this world all of your beauty.

Exercise: Write in your Journal about the people who have been that light against your being.

We complicate things. the simple way is really that, just simple.

Finding the Way? Why it’s right there before you.

The moral. Don’t complicate things: simplify, simplify, simplify.

You find your Way, your Purpose, your Joy, your Happiness, but getting all the complications removed.

How do you uncomplicated things?

Take time to sit quietly as the early morning sun comes up over the water in the cool crisp air of daybreak.

It’s there in the sunrise.

In the music of the morning.

In the joy of your heart for the promise that each new day brings.

In the spirit of that quiet moment.

Within you.

In no one else.

It’s yours.

Take the time.

Watch the sunrise.

Let silence seep into your deepest parts.

It’s simple really.

Ask Pooh.

He knows.
