Susan ,

That is a wonderful quote and I will lift it up to one of the Quote of the Day to give it more exsposure. The quote fits into the book perfectly. Bear never really complicates things. He keeps trying to but can never think of a way to do it, so he accepts things as they are in the end and is much better off for it. You'll love the book.

Hi there,

I'm catching up on all your posts here...Pooh is an old favourite of mine; haven't read this book but will have to check it out now. The way you describe reading this is how I felt reading Winnie the Pooh books when my daughter was young, different I'm sure but sounds like it still has that whimisical delight from your reaction to it. Here is one of my favourites from the old Pooh books...

"Here comes Edward Bear now, down the stairs behind Christopher Robin. Bump! Bump! Bump! It is, as far as he knows, the only way of coming down the stairs. He is sure that there must be a better way, if only he could stop bumping for a moment to think of it. "

Have a great day, Nick
