Daphne Rose Kingma Quote on “HOME”

As we expand, we melt. Our hearts open. Our thinking changes. Our obsessions subside, our addictions quietly pass away. This is the slow, elegant, loving process through which, little by little, we let go of the old and welcome the new. We open our hearts and allow in a few more people, just a few more relationship experiences, just a few more kinds of relationships. We learn Tadalis SX there are no mistakes, and our hearts become a circle so large that there are no more boundaries, no differences, no judgments. We know the graciousness of that great undivided familiarity, in which there are no more strangers, only friends.
We stretch, and to our amazement we don’t break. Instead, we grow. Suddenly, everything becomes easier, and our hearts, which once we believed could love only one person, or were battered so badly we thought they could never love again, expand so fully that the whole world is welcome. In such a state of openness, we see that we’ve only forgotten how to be together, we faintly and beautifully remember that once we were all together. We remember the way we were in a universe of incredible softness where there were no edges, no walls, no mind games, no rules. In that incredible world, we were happy. We loved one another. It wasn’t a feeling. It was a state of being called joy.
The future of love is this all-encompassing embrace. For when we have expanded so much, we will finally arrive at a place where the heart can open its doors to everything and everyone. Our souls have been taking us on this journey and Love is the magnificent destination to which they have been leading us. Now we can feel joy. Now, at last, we can be satisfied. Now, finally, we are home..

This is a long quote to see you off into the weekend. Durning this holiday season we think a lot about home. There are as many versions of home as there are people. For me home will always be the farmstead in Alliston, Ontario, Canada, where my sisters an I grew to adulthood. That is the home of my heart. But I have another home that is the home of my soul, which is here, right where I am.
Have a wonderful weekend. Take time to have an adventure and the time to relax with your family and friends .

To Nick and Noy,
I just want to say that I really appreciate these writings, here. And even though I don’t always respond or others don’t, I’m sure your sharing of them is enjoyed by the many…When I look at this site it reminds me of how brilliant it is when people share what’s in their minds and hearts and find gems from others to share, too…this reminds me to do more of the same.
This one today, is very close to “home” for me.
So thank you, thank you, both
Susan
Sorry that last post should have been to Nick and Daphne, but also Noy for her post….oops!
Hi Susan,
Thanks for your words. Sharing is what it is all about. The more I share the more things I seem to find to share. And the things I find to share inspire me too. The more inspired I am the more inspired Iam to inspire others, and around and around we go.
“Home” is on most peoples’ minds this time of year and it’s interesting to hear what home means to others.
Noy also thanks you, and hopefully she will get in on things too.
Nick
