I want to extend to all my readers a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. And if you do not celebrate Christmas, I extend best wish to you and wish you a happy and prosperous New Year.
I want to thank all of you who have been coming to the site and leaving comments about articles and quotes. I really appreciate your feedback which I use to make Beautiful Summer Morning even better.

Opening up to yourself is difficult but an act that delivers you to all that is special within you. Opening up to others is fearful, but necessary, part of the journey of your life.
I know from my own cautious nature that the opening up has not been easy, and is as yet not complete. But each petal we manage to free from the bud, is the next step in a flower of beauty and love and true compassion.
A small hurt, a preceived slight and we find ourselves folding up again, withdrawing from the fray. Don’t scold yourself for this very human reaction, but rather, nod in understand, then unfold that petal once again

One thing I would ask is that there is a link I can click on in your emails that you send that will take me directly to your site starting at the current day. I think I figured it out now, though…if I key in beautifulsummermorning in google then I can get the current day. So for those of us that may be a little slow with this (I’m sure I’m missing something) maybe you could put a link in the email.

Hi Susan,
Thanks for the suggestion, I will start to include a link to Beautiful Summer Morning in each email. While the same quote appears in both places, Beautiful Morning carries a lot of infomation and articles that do not appear in the email, so I will try also to alert you to new posts in the email.
