I asked Susan if I could post her comments and she was kind enought to give me permission. I just thought the comment illustrated the point of the quote so well, I had to include them here. Once again thanks Susan.

Enjoy a beautiful morning of the soul

My thoughts on this quote are ones of recognition in a way...I have had a
> stigmatism in my eyes for most of my life but have only worn my glasses to
> drive or watch a movie. My eyesight issues have been a strength really.
>
> I discovered at some point that my lack of physical sight was a kind of
> gift, because when a person walks into a room it's their energy I sense
> before they come into focus, so am able to determine any shift in their
> being; which is kind of nice really. It means that I can respond with more
> compassion or a clearer picture.
>
> Just today in fact a woman came into my work, who I know, but didn't "see"
> at first. Once I saw who it was I was amazed, because the energy I sensed
> was much different to the person I knew. I told her she looked amazing and
> that her energy was so different and what the heck had she been up to! She
> told me that it was funny I should see that because she had just come back
> from a course in Sedona on something to do with "heart centering."
>
> Well I know the quote is so much more than that, too, in fact it reflects
> what I've been utilizing these last two weeks....making the "choice" more
> often to react to life's challenges or "gifts" differently just changes
> the
> outcome so much, doesn't it?
>
> It's so nice to be reminded even when our minds are fairly open because we
> all have things come up in life that we can see differently.
>
> Thanks again for sharing,
>
