Don’t believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding, find out what you already know, and you’ll see the way to fly.

Richard Bach is one of my favorite writers. Here he suggest that we look with something other than our eyes. Look with understanding. Change your vision, change your view.
You can experience the power of this, by using different attitudes to look at the same thing. Use pity to ward someone, then use love. What is the difference in you vision of that person?
We have the awesome power to rise above our ordinary view of the world and elevate that view to the extraordinary.
With Love
Nick

My thoughts on this quote are ones of recognition in a way…I have had a
> stigmatism in my eyes for most of my life but have only worn my glasses to
> drive or watch a movie. My eyesight issues have been a strength really.
>
> I discovered at some point that my lack of physical sight was a kind of
> gift, because when a person walks into a room it’s their energy I sense
> before they come into focus, so am able to determine any shift in their
> being; which is kind of nice really. It means that I can respond with more
> compassion or a clearer picture.
>
> Just today in fact a woman came into my work, who I know, but didn’t “see”
> at first. Once I saw who it was I was amazed, because the energy I sensed
> was much different to the person I knew. I told her she looked amazing and
> that her energy was so different and what the heck had she been up to! She
> told me that it was funny I should see that because she had just come back
> from a course in Sedona on something to do with “heart centering.”
>
> Well I know the quote is so much more than that, too, in fact it reflects
> what I’ve been utilizing these last two weeks….making the “choice” more
> often to react to life’s challenges or “gifts” differently just changes
> the
> outcome so much, doesn’t it?
>
> It’s so nice to be reminded even when our minds are fairly open because we
> all have things come up in life that we can see differently.
