”There is no stress in the world, only people thinking stressful thoughts.”

Dr. Wayne Dyer

This struck me as soon as I saw it. First of all Dr Wayne Dyer is one of my favorite writers in the self-development field. Secondly, the quote carries a powerful truth.

He is right. I knew instantly that my stressful times, come about because I am thinking them into existence. I am sure I am not the only one that does this. Being aware when you do it, along with  self monitoring will remove this ugly habit from your life.

Don’t worry, I need to continue to work on this, but I think this quote jumps right up there with some of my all time  favorites.

Recommended Books:

Here are two books by Wayne Dyer that I highly recommend. If you wish to order these books please follow my links as I get a small percentage of the sale.

  1. Frank C says:

That is a rather chunky macaw in the picture. Mine is a lot thinner than that. Do you have any more info on where the picture was taken?

Wayne Dyer is a pretty good author but I kind of prefer Denis Waitley.

  2. Hi Frank, I will find out where the picture was taken and get back to you.

As far as the authors are concerned, it’s all about what moves you. I have not read as much Denis Waitley as I have Wayne Dyer. For me , Wayne Dyer touches something in me that respones to his words. But we all dance to different music and that is exactly as it ought to be. Thanks for the comment. I hope to hear from you again soon.

    Nick
