I talk a lot about threads and how these threads run through our lives and magically come together at the perfect time in your life. They create transformational moments. Today’s Inspirational Sunday Video is one such thread meeting and weaving with the thread of beautiful summer morning which has been an exciting part of my life for almost 2 years now.
The imagery in the video coupled with the music has to make this the official theme song for this Blog.
I also want to coin two new terms. Hard Inspiration, which refers to that riotous over the top , knock ‘em dead passion, and Soft Inspiration: which is the gentle, light and deeply serene kind of inspiration. This video is Soft Inspiration. It is called: IN THE MORNING LIGHT written by Yanni
Please enjoy:
For an added bonus I offer you this link to something that I thought was so special that I couldn’t
wait a week to bring it to you.
The back ground to this video is of two men who raised a lion in Africa and returned him to the wild.
After a year they returned to see how he was fairing. The video records the moment when both the young men and the Lion recognize each other. Have your tissues ready.

Nice up-lifting blog you have here Nick. I like your term “soft inspiration”…yes, the music and pictures give that feeling of peace and serene inspiration. I also read your “Threads” blog. I’ve always wondered why some people have such an overstated negative reaction to this type of music. Yanni’s music has always given me that feeling of grounded calm and, as you said, serene inspiration. The world today can be a whirl wind of external voices…but the most important voice to listen to is the one found in the calm within.
