He who binds to himself a joy

Does the winged life destroy.

But he who kisses the joy that flies

Lives in eternity’s sunrise.

Source William Blake

What a beautiful phrase “eternity’s sunrise”.  We cannot own joy, leave it free and joy is yours forever.

My focus this week , is finding silence, not just a quiet place, but a silence inside. As I take my walks and go about my tasks, I have wrestled with my tendency to listen to all the noise in my head, instead of the silence. Finally today, I seemed to have a break through and the silence stayed with me. The silence brings a peaceful joy.

I want to leave you this week with this African Proverb.

Much silence makes a mighty noise.

Something to ponder as you enjoy your weekend with family and friends.

I wish you much peace and joy.
