Beautiful Summer Morning Inspirational Quote of the Day
Photo by Nick Grimshawe from Villa Rosa
To the extent that my hands grew accustomed to labour, that my eyes and ears learned to see and hear and my heart to understand what is in it, my soul too learned to skip upon the hills, to rise, to soar, to embrace all the land around about, the world and all that is in it and to see itself embraced in the arms of the whole universe.

However you define “God” , there is no doubt that “The One” or “The Source” is readily visible in nature. As I drive home each night I have the privilege of coming down out of the hills, where the world is laid out before me, to a flat valley floor . One mountain rises up behind another mimicking infinite dimensions. The valley floor embraces the idea of infinite abundance. As I drive down out of those hills my soul skips upon the hills, and soars to embrace all the land round about. Each season changes the view, yet it stays the same. Each time I start the winding road down, my heart is filled with joy.
Working with your hands, using your eyes to see and your ears to hear (really see and hear)and learning the ways of your heart is the catalysis to set your soul to soaring.
This Wednesday find a place where you can let your spirit soar.
Let Your Spirit Soar,
Nick Grimshawe

I agree. It is so easy for us to not to see what God has done all around us. Thanks for taking the time to remind us that we need to stop and look around and appreciate the world around us.
I am glad you enjoyed the quote and the commentary.
