Trip across the fairy sky of sunset,
Dance the vermilion fandango
Amid the orange wash of the going down sun.
Spangle your body with the mauve mists of rising night,
Oh and touch that brief splash of green before its gone to midnight,
Kick up your heels against the darkening indigo splattered with twinkling lights
And place your soul in the hands of the stars, other peoples’ suns, until your sun rises
In a morning of spectacular fire,
Keep dancing till the sky arch of dawn
Brings sleepy dew to your eyes
Then rest till tomorrow
To Dance again.
