Summer is for Salads continued.
In my last post, I talked of a constantly rotating series of salads for summer. Here are another two recipes to add to your repertoire.
Â
Spicy Cold-Slaw:
Â
This is good served with ribs.
Â
What you Need
Â
½ of medium Cabbage thinly sliced
½ of medium onion very thinly sliced
2 carrots peeled and grated
3 tablespoon of roughly chopped cilantro
The juice of one lime
Sea Salt and pepper to taste
A dash or two of Tabasco sauce
½ cup of olive oil
¼ cup of white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon of sugar.
Â
How To Throw It Together:
Â
Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and toss. Use your hands; it’s the best way to stir all the ingredients together. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your taste. Let rest as long as possible before serving. The flavours take Viagra Jelly time to blend.
Â
Ricotta and Chives
This is so simple and soooo goood!
Â
What you Need:
I ½ cups of ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons of snipped chives
Ground black pepper about ten to 12 grinds.
Â
How to Throw It Together
Â
Mix all the ingredients together and serve in a pretty bowl.
You get a beautiful peppery spicy but soothing taste.
Â
Â
Enjoy the meal in the sunshine. Nick Â
